This week, I have been in a conference with top real estate agents from all over the country and Canada too, and have enjoyed hearing all they have to share about the broad real estate market. What a treat for me to be around these exciting professionals! I also had the opportunity to have lunch with my broker Neil Schwartz and a commercial real estate agent out of Los Angeles. He talked to me about Long Beach, my primary market and home, and said, “Wow, Long Beach, did you know there are homes for a million dollars in some nice areas of Long Beach?!” LOL yes, I did know, I actually have a listing for one such home… in beautiful Belmont Shore.
In truth, Long Beach has it all – inexpensive condos for as little as $200,000 all the way up to homes well over $2M and up to $10M if you like. And million dollar homes? Quite a few! As a happy Long Beach resident, I do lose sight of the fact that many people outside of Long Beach still aren’t aware of how gorgeous the city is, because Long Beach still suffers the stigma of how it was in the 1970s and 1980s, its seedy reputation from those days still hanging on for those who have not yet opened their eyes to our city’s new changes.
Belmont Shore is the next Manhattan Beach and Corona del Mar, areas where average prices have exceeded $2M and $3M. The lifestyle in Belmont Shore offers the resident direct access to the Aquatic Capital of America – Long Beach – along with its ocean breezes, sandy beach, a bay full of pretty boats, waterfront homes looking onto Marine Stadium, and an vibrant restaurant strip all within a few steps. Those with good taste and foresight will see immediately what an opportunity and investment in the future it is to own here.
